豊かな空間は贅沢な空間ではありません。それぞれの人の心に届き、心の中でいろいろな感情を呼び覚ます…私たちのつくる空間が、人々の"生きている"と感じられる瞬間の一部になりたい。
四季の移り変わりや、日々の時間の移ろいと共振するような空間を。日々の出来事で生じる心の震えを抱擁するような空間を。
For the limited life to shine
Materials for creating spaces include wood, bamboo, Japanese paper, textiles, stones and soil, metals such as iron, brass and copper, and glass .... There are so many different materials on earth.
And there are many people with great skills.
However, what you actually see is a bland mass-produced product.
After the war, standardization and unitization progressed in various industries, and people were forced to live in an increasingly huge system.
And people's sensibilities are losing their flexibility and delicacy, and I feel that their lives are becoming more rigid.
Synes set out to rethink what space should be to breathe into the abandoned heart and regain our lives.
What we want to convey to the future society is to feel the fact that we are living here now, and while enjoying life, the limited life fully demonstrates its potential and our own. It is to contribute to the creation of a social system that makes the most of sensibility and creativity.
Synes（シネス）は、限りある生が輝くために
空間をつくる際の素材として、木や竹、和紙、テキスタイル、石や土、鉄や真鍮・銅などの金属、そしてガラス等.…地球上にはこんなにも様々な素材があり、そして素晴らしい技術を持っている人々がいるのに、実際に目にするのは味気ない量産品。
戦後、様々な業種で規格化、ユニット化が進み、人々は益々巨大なシステムに取り込まれた生活を余儀なくされています。
そして人々の感性も、柔軟さや繊細さが失われつつあり、生の硬直化が進んでいるように感じています。
シネスは置き去りにされた心に息を吹きかけ、自分の生を取り戻すための空間がどうあるべきか、もう一度考えるために始動しました。
私たちが未来の社会へ向けて伝えたいこと、それは「今ここに生きている」という事実を全身で感じ、生を謳歌しながら、限りある生がその潜在力を十分に発揮し、自分の感性や創造性が生かせる社会の仕組みづくりに貢献することです。
Materials that make individuals shine
When creating a space, we select materials that memorize time as much as possible, materials that can be used for a long time, and materials that can be recycled.
This is because we don't believe that peoples' hearts will grow in the space created by "scrap and build system".
Therefore, we rarely use materials with a low recycling rate, such as gypsum board, veneer, and vinyl chloride tile.
In addition, we select materials that make us feel alive together, not materials that do not remember time.
In addition, if you cannot find the appropriate material or finish in the space you want to create, we have a system in place that allows each affiliated factory to produce it.

個を輝かせる素材
空間をつくる際に、わたしたちは、なるべく時間を記憶する素材、長く使用できる素材、リサイクル可能な素材を選定します。
”スクラップ&ビルド”でつくられた空間では、心が育たないと思っているからです。
そのため、石膏ボード、化粧板や塩ビタイルなどリサイクル率が低いまたはリサイクルしづらい製品、時間を記憶しない素材はあまり採用せず、できるだけ共に生きていると感じられる素材を選定しています。
また、つくりたい空間に適切な素材や仕上、器具が見当たらない場合は、各提携ファクトリーで制作できるシステムを整えています。

For those who really need a rich space
The poverty of public spaces in Japan leads to poor experiences in urban spaces. We are working to enrich the experience of urban space as much as possible by what we can do.
One is to change the cityscape as much as possible (see the DOORS and WINDOWS website).
The other is to prepare a system that allows people to experience exciting spaces at a reasonable cost, and to create an environment where a rich commercial space can be easily created.

日本の公共空間の貧しさは、都市空間での貧しい経験に繋がっています。私たちは、自分たちができることで、少しでも都市空間の経験が豊かになる取り組みをしています。

Take a step towards a new society
I have been involved in design for over 20 years, and I am good at always structuring various events by taking advantage of my experience of spending nearly 7 years in the United States.
We aim to analyze the relationships between events, find new relationships, and create a future that we have never seen before.
Currently, we are actively promoting the creation and operation of residential and commercial spaces with our own systems and the construction of communities through spaces and products.

20年以上にわたってデザインに関わり、その内7年近くをアメリカにて過ごした経験を活かし、常にさまざまな事象を構造化するのが得意です。
事象間の関係性を分析し、新しい関係性を構築し、今まで見なかった未来をつくることを目指しています。
現在、自社の独自のシステムによる住宅・商業空間の創出と運営およびコミュニティの構築化を空間やプロダクトを通じて積極的に進めています。

早稲田大学卒業。
ヴァージニア州立工科大学大学院建築学科修士課程修了。
同大学建築学科最高卒業制作賞受賞。
TVリポーター（uhb北海道文化放送）＆キャスター（NHK北海道）、広告代理店（現（株）クオラス）勤務後渡米。修士号取得と米国大手建築設計事務所（STUDIOS ARCHITECTURE）勤務で1996年～2002年末まで米国在住。
